CAC-1070 screen blacks out a few seconds intermittently

I purchased a CAC-1070 adapter to connect a Samsung plasma TV (PN51F5300) from the displayport of my computer (ASUS PRIME Z270-A, Intel i3-7100, HD Graphics 630) to the HDMI input of the tv. Everything works fine. The Intel driver correctly matches the resolution of the displayport to the tv, but the image of the tv blacks out for a second or two every five or ten minutes…

Any idea what the problem might be?

Dear juliendym, we have never heard of such an issue with our adapter. It is more likely that this is related to the TV. Please check with Samsung or search “the image of the TV blacks out…”.
