Dell XPS 9370 + CAC-2504

I have a XPS 9370 laptop and CAC-2504 usb-c to HDMI adapter. I haven’t gotten it to work because windows doesn’t detect the monitor.

Device Manager recognise it as “USB-C dongle” and in properties:

Device description: Billboard Device

Hardware ID: USB\VID_2109&PID_0100&REV_0603 | USB\VID_2109&PID_0100

I have tried several thing but unsuccessfully. Do you help me?

Hi nicolascalvo,

What kind of monitor do you have? is your windows os totaly up-to-date, you may check that in system configuration.

let me know on the forum and then i can see what i can do.

Hi Clubbie,

I have tested with several monitor and TV but don’t work.

When I open Puma AUX-ISP Tool to update the CAC-2504 and push refresh button I get “not available graphics port”.

According to my knowledge to update the firmware the device cac-2504 has to be connected with a screen connected to it as well.

What I did not get from your answer is if your Windows and all your other drivers are updated as well?

I presume you have contacted support if you already have the firmware?
