    What cable are you using?

It’s a Mid 2014 MacBook Pro 15″ with an NVIDA GeForce GT 750M 2GB. I also have a late 2013 MBP 15″ with the same video card, both of which should be able to do 4k@60hz according to Apple https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT206587

It’s 15″, and everything else in my setup is capable.

I haven’t been able to get this adapter to work with my Mid 2014 Retina MacBook Pro and my Sony XBR43x830 OR XBR55x850, both of which support this resolution. Did you have to update your adapter firmware? When I switch to 4k/60hz my TV loses signal, however it runs at 30hz.

I have this same TV 43×830, in addition to the 55×850 and cannot get either one of them to do 60hz with this adapter. Has anyone had any luck? So far my request for the firmware update has gone ignored.

According to my sticker on the adapter I am running CAC-1170 Rev A1-00, FW 7.1E 1613. I cannot get 4k@60hz from either of my TVs (Sony XBR55x850 and XBR43x430) both which support it. I have enabled the Enhanced mode on the TVs as instructed, but when I apply 4k@60hz the TVs display “no input.” Perhaps the firmware update will resolve this issue? I’ve attempted this with two MacBooks 15″, both support 4k@60hz using SwitchResX, and my cables are all HDMI2.0.

Please advise before I am forced to send this adapter back.

I have the same TV, been trying to get mine to work at 4k@60hz 4:4:4 with no such luck…
