It could be two issues, a adapter/cable that is defective or the second one which is the driver.
Try using this Display Driver Uninstaller to see if you can reinstall the latest driver and everything works well.
If the latest Omega driver is not working well you can always roll back the driver to 14.9 version. It is available at the amd.com site.
Hi Buster,
The MST Hub is a DP++ device, so you only need to use passive adapters. The only exception here is when you use a resolution above 1200p then you will require an active adapter.
In regards to your second question, can you tell us what graphics card you have? It really depends on the supported chipset.
For example, for Nvidia GeForce graphics cards the maximum supported displays are 4, it does not matter what combination you make.
On Radeon graphics you can run a maximum of 6 displays.
When I mention the number of displays supported this is on MST or Multi Stream Transport, each display running independent with their own OS window.
You can run also in SST Single Stream Transport (depending on the graphics chip) which it will mean that you can run lets say 3 screens with a single resolution expanded. So if you have support for 6 MST on a graphics card, you can run 6×3=18 displays. Note that this can be limited due to driver support or graphics chipset.
Please let me know your graphics card make and model and hopefully I can help you.
Regards
Yes, can you just test that adapter on the card to verify if it works?
If you use two active and two passive it should work.
Can you check with your adapters vendors if those are actually active? The ones DP to VGA.
Hi Aburik,
1. Monitor 1 LG Mini DisplayPort to VGA (active) (you already have this)
2. Monitor 2 Viewsonic V3D231 Mini DisplayPort to DVI/HDMI passive adapter
3. Monitor 3 Viewsonic V3D231 Mini DisplayPort to DVI/HDMI passive adapter
4. Monitor 4 Viewsonic V3D231 Mini DisplayPort to DVI/HDMI single link active adapter
Note:
I saw that you have 3D capable displays on the Viewsonic, if you want to use that feature it will mean to increase the bandwidth. In this case from step 2 to 4 you will require Active Dual Link DVI or Active HDMI adapters.
I suggested to use on step 4 a single link active adapter as the display does not exceed 1080p, they are cheaper to buy than the dual link.
I hope this helps.
Hi Aburik,
The DP to VGA is an active adapter, it is this way due to the nature of converting the signal from digital to analog.
In regards to your displays, can you detail what displays you have and what are the inputs?
I can suggest a solution for you.
Thank you Dave.
Hope it works out well for you.
All the best and thank you.
Hi Bristone,
Can you see if you can install the drivers with the Kaspersky software disabled? Sometimes anti-virus software it does create a conflict installing graphics drivers.
Deinstall and install the driver again with the anti-virus off.

Hi Sebastian,
I think you need to check first if the HDMI cable is a high bandwidth version. It is not the same watching a standard movie at 1080p than in 3D which requires a higher bandwidth.
Make sure that you have install the latest Windows Updates and also the Intel graphics drivers. We do not know what notebook exactly you have, the DV6 has a few different models and therefore we cannot pinpoint the graphics chipset.
Also make sure that you send a mail to PowerDVD to explain the situation and see if they can help you out.

Hi Dave,
Yes it can but you need to set the iMac on target display mode. The way to do this is the following;
How do I enable TDM?
How do I exit TDM?
To leave TDM, press Command-F2 on the keyboard of the iMac that is in TDM. You can also exit TDM if you shutdown or sleep either computer or detach the cable.
We recommend you to use the CSV-2301 as this USB graphics supports up to 2560x1600p. The 27″ iMac maximum resolution is 2560x1440p
What do you need?
A free USB 3.0 port, an USB 3.0 Graphics device such as the CSV-2301(1600p) or CSV-2302 (2160p) and a DisplayPort to Mini DisplayPort cable
If you have any further questions please let us know.

Hi Aburik,
Welcome to Insights!
In regards to the VGA card I think you have the Eyefinity 4 version. If you do not have DisplayPort displays you can use two passive adapters of any kind and two active adapters to enable the third and fourth display. You can find more information here on our Eyefinity page.
If you have further questions please let us know.
Bienvenido a Insights!
A warm welcome and thank you for joining.
Hi,
Thank you for your response. Make sure the shop where you buy it has a good return policy in case you run into troubles.
Kind regards
Hi,
We recently had some work done on the server and we need to update quite a few links still.
Please use this link for this week only to download the RF
Dear Haka,
The adapter is active that is why is a bit expensive due to the conversion from digital to analog.
The max resolution supported by this adapter is the following;
1920 px, 1200 px, 60 Hz, 24 bit (32bit), aspect ratio 1.60, 3.32 Gbit/s.
3.70 Gbit/s, CVT-R, 4.62 Gbit/s TMDS, Pixelclock 154.011 MHz.
3.55 Gbit/s, CVT-R2, 4.44 Gbit/s TMDS, Pixelclock 148.087 MHz.
Your request;
1600 px, 1200 px, 100 Hz, 24 bit (32bit), aspect ratio 1.33, 4.61 Gbit/s.
5.31 Gbit/s, CVT-R, 6.64 Gbit/s TMDS, Pixelclock 221.384 MHz.
5.07 Gbit/s, CVT-R2, 6.34 Gbit/s TMDS, Pixelclock 211.321 MHz.
It far exceeds the bandwidth so it will not be supported.
