sorry for the inconvenience
Not sure i understand the first part / question :-S
The adapter cannot take power from DP Display output to feed the adapter chips on other end of that signal line.
This adapter should not play a part in determining if a signal with or without HDCP will be shown. It has a reapeater for HDCP 1.4, so if an HDCP signal is send to the adapter it will just forward it.
Normally active adapters like this can only be updated from source side, so in this case the HDMI side. I will double chekc on this one, but cannot imagine you can update it from the “transmitter-side”.
Hi Traindriver,
So connecting the Docking Station to Notebook and connecting it to power, the program does not give you the option to click omn the refresh Icon ?
Hi Mazze,
Sorry for the late reaction.
And if that is not bad enough you really have a unique issue here!
The only think i can think of is Power …
Good day BIonic,
Sorry to hear this.
So your system does see the 3 screens connected to the MST Hub ?
What system you have (CPU, OS)?
What Graphics Card you have?
WHich Grpahics Driver you have installed?
What screens are you using and in which resolution?
Good day Traindriver,
Sorry to hear this.
I do think we have a firmware update for this product. I will have [email protected] send that to you.
Good day Dougtrick,
There is no firmware update for a CSV-6400 (yet), this item is just released and comes with the latest available fimware loaded.
Well your setup is working fine under Windows, so there is nothing wrong with that.
It must be a software issue, I know there is support for MST in Linux, that leaves the Graphics Driver as primairy suspect …
You have other (older) Graphics Card you can try with ?
and a very good new year to you 🙂
Hopefully Club3D will be able to start offering HDMI 2.0 to DP 1.2 Adapter solution, but so far i have no concrete information on this 🙁
Hello Phil,
Ok good to hear it is working 🙂
Hello Phil,
Did you check if your MacBook Pro can actually output 4K at 60Hz ?
Hi Guonghua,
Sorry to hear this.
In general …
Setups with TV’s normally work best by making a custom resolution, in this case for: 3840*2160 at 60 Hz with Timing Standard set to CVT-RB (Reduced Blanking).
(For setups with Monitors Timing Standard can remain on “auto”.)
On most TV’s you will need to do some settings like “Enhanced Mode”/ “PC-Mode” and/or “UHD Color” for the HDMI 2.0 port in use.
Please make sure the HDMI port of the Screen/TV supports 4K 60 Hz, often not all HDMI inputs support that.
Please make sure the HDMI Cable can do 4K at 60 Hz / 18Gbps, like our CAC-1310
To be able to generate such a Custom Resolution you will probably need an app like SwitchResX since MAC OS does not provide such settings.
Should be something like this, please do make sure to have it set to “CVT-RB”

I will ask [email protected] to send you latest available firmware.
Yes just use a USB 2.0 extension cable of around 20 cm to be able to place thatLogitech Unifying thing further away from the Dockign Station so it will not interfear with docking
very welcome
Hi Alladyn21,
Pease make a clean driver installation for 17.12.1

Hi Andreas,
I do not know any Notebook that can do that.
if you want to connect 4 screens to a notebook i would suggest you to connect 2 screens from the DP1.2 output using a CSV-5200 or CSV-6200 or CSV-6200H and for the remaining 2 screens make use of a CSV-1474 or CSV-1477.
CSV-5200:

CSV-6200:
http://www.club-3d.com/en/detail/2440/multi_stream_transport_hub_displayport_1.2_dual_monitor/
CSV-6200H:
http://www.club-3d.com/en/detail/2441/multi_stream_transport_hub_displayport_1.2_dual_monitor_to_hdmi/
The CSV-1474 / CSV-1477 are External USB Graphics Adapters that support resolutions up to 2 x 3840×2160 @ 60Hz. This works around the limitation notebooks have, WIN will recognize the screens and you can just set the resolution in the Graphics driver
CSV-1474:

CSV-1477:
