I will give this one over to [email protected]. You will receive further email comminucation from them.

Good day malucelli,
Although Apple states that Mac Book Pro late 2013 should be able to output 4K at 60Hz over the Thunderbolt 2, htis link does worry me a bit:https://support.apple.com/kb/sp691?locale=en_US
That states it cannot. I suppose it all depends if the Graphics Chip inside can do it … which CPU / Integrated Graphics is in your system?
The CAC-1170 adapter will convert DP 1.2 signal into HDMI 2.0 signal at max 4K 60Hz, but that singal does need to come out of your system first …
CAC-1170 does not support HDR by the way.
Hi Mudson,
Sorry for the delay of this reply.
– What is the number to contact for warranty concerns? Provided it is still under waranty (Only bought it 11 months ago, though I do not know how long ago the manufacturer purchased the unit.
You can claim warranty from the place of purchase, this will most probably offer the fastest service for you.
– Would I still receive a signal through the center channel if no power is going to the unit?
It would be a special case, but possible that the Hub receives just enough power from the DP input to pass on 1 video signal. For the second/third output it would need to do more “work”, thus needing more power then it gets.
Best regards
no problem, good to hear it is working for you 🙂
Hi Kaikox,
Please send a picture of th backside of your card to [email protected]
On the back should be stickers with Item-Code, Serial NR. and Production nr.
Wel need those to detemine which Firmware is best suited for your card.
thanks for the feedback and happy to hear you got it working 🙂
Good day GraffitiKnight,
No the CAC-1514 does not hav support for HDR.
Good day Woiz,
The CSV-1460 does not support upstream charging, so no charging the Notebook thrue/from the docking station.
Depending on your connectivity needs/wishes, we do have these mini dockings that have a USB C port for charging:
CSV-1530 = Mini Dock, USB C to Gigabit Ehternet + USB3.0 + USB C for charging
CSV-1532 = Mini Dock, USB C to VGA + USB3.0 + USB C for charging
CSV-1534 = Mini Dock, USB C to HDMI 2.0 (4K 60Hz) + USB2.0 + USB C for charging
CSV-1537 = Mini Dock, USB C to DisplayPort 1.2 + USB2.0 + USB C for charging
CSV-1560 = USB C MST Charging Docking Station
This one uses MST feature for Dual Screen support which is not supported by MAC OS so you can connect 2 external screens but they will show the same picture. If you will only connect 1 screen, this one would be perfect.
Good day Leatamola,
In general …
– Setup
Setups with TV’s normally work best by making a custom resolution, in this case for: 3840*2160 at 60 Hz with Timing Standard set to CVT-RB (Reduced Blanking).
(For setups with Monitors Timing Standard can remain on “auto”.)
On most TV’s you will need to do some settings like “Enhanced Mode”/ “PC-Mode” and/or “UHD Color” for the HDMI 2.0 port in use.
Please make sure the HDMI port of the Screen/TV supports 4K 60 Hz, often not all HDMI inputs support that.
I will have [email protected] send you an email with the latest firmware in case you do not have that already loaded, however i doubt that the problem is realted to frimware of the adapter cable.
just make sure to use an active Mini DisplayPort to HDMI Adapter like our CAC-1170 (plus a normal HDMI Cable).
http://www.club-3d.com/en/detail/2339/mini_displayport_1.2_to_hdmi_2.0_active_adapter/
no problem just hope these High Sierra issues will be resolved soon …
Please make sure to use a passive HDMI to DVI adapter. Somthing like our CAA-HMD>DFD : http://www.club-3d.com/en/detail/2355/hdmi_to_dvi_d_single_link_passive_adapter/
Plus of course a normal DVI cable to go to the screen. That should work.
Hello gosheto,
Sorry but your GTX770 is a Kepler GPU Graphics card and those do not work very well together with active adapters like the CAC-1070.
You could try with clean driver install and making a custom resolution for 3840×2160 at 60Hz with Timing Standard set to CVT-RB for use with a 4K TV.
will check with R&D if they knwo a work around of some sort, but as often with new MAC OS Updates it often takes until a next update until (most) issues are fixed …
Good day Gregory, i checked and you should have received an answer back from [email protected].
In case you did not, please claim warranty from the place of purchase. You should have 2 years warranty from the place you bought it.
