Hi Keymag,
CAC-1051 / CAC-1055 is the same product, jsut nto called the same in all countries.
Displayport to DualLink DVI-D, USB Powered. Max resoltuon 1600P.
It does not increase noticable input lag.
OK, please do this.
Disconenct the Docking Station, and uninstall all DisplayLink software form the system.
Reboot.
Download and install latest DisplayLink Driver for mac, you can find that here:
http://downloads.club-3d.com/SENSEVISION/CSV-3242HD/
After installation, reboot again. Connect the Docking Station and it should work well.
Hi Walle90,
As it stands now it does not look like we will be able to implement HDR with a firmware update for CAC-1070 / CAC-1170 / CAC-1073 / CAC-1173.
We might have to chose to start up a different product to get this done. I have not seen any new product from DP to HDMI on the roadmap which means this is for sure more than 3 months away …
Sorry I do not have a better message for you ;-(
The UHD Sound driver is included in the Graphics Driver Pack.
Especially when using the upgrade feature to update drivers can give issues, because old files can remain in the registry of the OS and can be “in the way”. Please make a new clean driver installation to make sure that part is ok.
Please uninstall the current Graphics driver and all related Graphics software like Afterburner/GPU-Z or whatever graphics related software you might have installed. Best way to remove Driver Software is to boot Windows in Safe mode, so the registry can also be cleaned. When you system does not allow you to do that, you can also use a program like DDU to remove such software: http://www.wagnardmobile.com/DDU/
Download and install latest available driver for your device.
You might need to reboot ones or twice during this process.
Hi Tomi,
If you just want to connect your screen in 4K60Hz ,then a CAC-1507 / CAC-1517 will do just fine.

CAC-1517: http://www.club-3d.com/index.php/products/reader.en/product/usb-31-type-c-cable-to-displayport-12-uhd-adapter-12-m-394-ft.html
A CSV-1534 / CSV-1537 are Mini Dockings that allow you to connect 4K 60Hz Screen + USB type A device as well as charge the notbook at the same time.

Best regards,
Unfortunately Nvidia has not explained that to me either :-S
Anyway since the EDID info does nto come thrue correctly (1920×2160@60Hz is not correct), i advise you to make a custom resolution for 3480×1260 @ 60 Hz with Timing Standard set to CVT-Reduced Blanking.
Welcome 🙂
Good day Viegelinsch,
What Keyboard / Mouse are you using, and are they wireless ?
Hi Seppok,
I am quite sure your problem is the fact that the Kepler based GPU’s (or older) are not really compatible with the Active Adapters converting DP 1.2 to HDMI 2.0.
Good day tomi,
The CAC-1507 is a USB Type C to Displayport Adapter and is Thunderbolt 3 compatible.
So yes that will work. I have heard that Sierra 10.12.3 was a bit more “friendly” with regards to conenctivity than 10.12.4 is, but since Thunderbolt 3 fully supports DP1.2 the adapter will work.
The only thing i can imagin not working “out of the box” is that the system might not recognize the EDID coming from the Monitor (that sometimes happens with new monitors/tv’s) and therefor you will not be able to select the 4K 60Hz option on your MAC, but with programs like SwitchResX i am sure we will get it going 🙂
i will have support email you the latest firmware, however i am not so sure it will help you.
What Graphics Card is inside or what CPU (in case it is integrated graphics) ?
i think you should be able to “disable” auto updates or put that on “Manual”
Good day Kratos73,
No that will most probably not work. If i am not mistaking the maximum supprot nr. of screens for this card is 8. Altough each outp[ut has enough bandwidth to output 4 x 1080P at 60Hz, use of an MST HUb will not increase the max nr. of supported screens …
You will need a free usb3.0 port for each, so if you have that, yes that will work. If I am not mistaking Mac OS X supports up to 4 screens in total, so 3 should not be a problem
