Hi Starboyk, thank you for joining our forum!

Unfortunately the Vizio TV’s are picky eaters when it comes to our CAC-1070 adapters. Fortunately we do have quite some users who have been busy trouble shooting and it seems this forum user was able to get his Vizio M43-C1 working. Please check this thread for info:

Hi Chachamara, thank you for joining our forum. It’s unfortunate to hear you’re experiencing issues with your R9 290 royalKing card, especially if it has been swapped already by the reseller. Judging from the symptoms with your card it’s probably defective.

Is there a way to check your system with another GPU (any) and is there a way to test your card in another system (any)?

If it’s not working at all, please contact our RMA department via [email protected] so our colleagues can assist you further.

Unfortunately we have no recent Nvidia cards here to test with so we can’t replicate your setup.

4K @ 60Hz, even if it would be in 4:2:0, is very unlikely for HDMI 1.4 though! None of us have seen such a configuration work.

Is there no alternative way to route the sound towards your receiver?

We can’t think of any other option to try in your situation. It’s possible that an HDMI 2.0 to DP (1.3 maybe) converter will be introduced at some point but nothing has been confirmed so far.

Hi ParanormalBanana, thank you for joining our forum!

It’s an interesting question and interesting setup! But if you own a GTX card with HDMI 2.0 it must be a GTX 950, 960, 970 or 980 Maxwell card.

Since the converter you look for (HDMI 2.0 to DP 1.2) does not exist to our knowledge (we’re only aware of HDMI 1.4 to DP 1.2, enabling 4K 30Hz) the easiest solution would be to skip HDMI to DP part completely and connect your Philips monitor direct from a DP output on the card.

Note that this sort of conversion is highly sophisticated and most likely not achievable using DiY components and tools.

    Hi LeLeuPaon,

Please be aware that for any multi monitor setup using an Eyefinity card with Mini DP outputs but NON DP monitors like the Viewsonic panels, you can connect two of the monitors with passive mDP to HDMI adapters. The remaining monitors need to be connected with active mDP to HDMI adapters since only two of the outputs on the card support Dual Mode DisplayPort (DP++) which natively convert DP to HDMI.
For the other outputs, active adapters are required.

Club 3D advises the CAC-1170 mDP 1.2 to HDMI 2.0 Active Adapter for the best results:  link to product page

Hi Volk84, thank you for joining our forum. How many cables were included with your PSU?
The fixed wire loom of the PSU enables one 1 GPU to be connected.

Additionally, 4x PCI express 6+2 pin cables are included to enable a triple GPU setup, as well as 3x Sata connectors (fixed loom) and 6x Sata cables for hard drives, see picture below:

Hi Weati, thank you for your message. Can you share the rest of your setup?

I will check with our support team is there is a way to send you a link to the firmware so you can update.

Hi Ruud, thank you for joining our forum!

The Dell DA200 doesn’t support resolutions above 1920x1080p Full HD. The HDMI 2.0 SKU’s we offer, including the CAC-1504, do support resolutions up to 3840x2160p at 60Hz as well as specific resolutions inbetween like the 2560×1080 21:9 ratio of the LG ratio, which isn’t very common. (same with 3840x1440p).

For your information, we expect our CSV-1534 Mini Dock which supports HDMI 2.0 too soon: http://club-3d.com/index.php/products/reader.en/product/usb-30-type-c-to-hdmi-20-usb-mini-dock.html

Thank you for sharing this info with us Fabian! In the past we used offer Nvidia cards as well but since we’re AMD only since 2013 we don’t have many recent Nvidia products around to test with. It may have to do with the first DP output supporting Dual Mode DP (DP++). We’ll definitely include this info in our Nvidia Maxwell trouble shooting info.

So you’ve got it working properly now?

Hi Fabian, thank you for joining our forum! Can you check which firmware version your adapter has? It’s mentioned on the small white label. Judging from the issue you’re experiencing it seems there is an error in the EDID, causing the image to flicker and loop.
