Hi Socrates, which driver version are you using? And have you tried to completely swipe the old driver using DDU and re-install this new driver: http://support.amd.com/en-us/download/desktop?os=Windows+10+-+64
If this does not solve the problem please contact us at [email protected] for direct contact with our support team. Thanks!
Hi Proximos, at this moment it’s unclear if there will be an updated Win 8.1/ 10 driver for our Theatron sound cards but at this moment they are not supported under those Windows versions unfortunately. Watch this forum and our facebook page for updates.
If you don’t use Eyefinity you should be able to get a triple screen setup working directly from the card. But the Acer monitor you mention seems to have a VGA (analog) input only. Since the 280X only features digital outputs you would need an active adapter to from either mDP to VGA or DVI-D to VGA.
Hi Mariusblk, sounds like a pretty impressive setup you have! Please contact us directly at [email protected] and provide us with your phone number so we can try to help you further. Thanks!
Hi Per, your requested configuration is not possible unfortunately. The only ways to get 4K UHD at 60Hz is via DisplayPort 1.2 or HDMI 2.0. The 290 features only one DP 1.2 output and no HDMI 2.0 output so it only allows for one 4K panel at 60Hz. The second one can be connected via HDMI (1.4) but will only work at 30Hz.
Hi Mercy4nun, can you please contact our support team via [email protected] ? Should the card be defective and needs to be returned for RMA we can assist you better, thanks.
Hi Flighter,
Yes the CSV-2302 features a DisplayLink SoC which supports Mac OS X. You do need the right driver, version 2.4, which can be found and downloaded here: http://www.displaylink.com/downloads/mac_downloads.php
Hi Byhero156, The AMD DiRT rally promo is only for outgoing 200 Series cards, AMD FX processors and is limited to a very small number of resellers across the globe. For AMD Terms and conditions in regards to this promo please follow this link: https://www.amd4u.com/dirtrally/files/DiRT-Rally-TCs_FINALAPPROVED.pdf
Hi Sully1010, thank you for contacting us. Judging from the issues you experience your card may be suffering from coil whine. This is not affecting the performance of the card but can be an annoying experience. The only solution we can offer is to return the card for RMA through your Club 3D reseller. Feel free to contact us at [email protected] if you have any other question, thanks.
Dear Gezoriugi, thank you for contacting us. Can you share information about your setup? Many cards support a triple screen (Eyefinity) setup but require (at least) one active adapter cable to make it work.
Excellent news! That’s good to hear. In many situations remains of older driver versions result in cards behaving strange, like fans spinning up etc. Please note that driver 15.7 is out now which supports numerous new features and adds Windows 10 support:
Hi NatExpressen, thank you for contacting us and unfortunate to hear that you are experiencing issues with your card. Before sending your card for RMA, can you let us know if any previous graphics card has been installed in your system? If yes, was it an Nvidia or AMD card? And if yes, do you know if any previous driver version has been completely sweeped from your system? If possible, do you have a way to cross test with a different card in your system and/ or with the R9 290 Ace in a different system? Thanks!
Hi Michael, I understand you have a 6 ft mDP to DP extension cable? When using a DP cable it’s very important to have one which supports HBR2 (High BitRate 2) to benefit from the full DP 1.2 bandwidth. Many DP cables are RBR (Reduced BitRate) which means they do not support the full bandwidth which is required to power multiple monitors. This will result in a bad signal/ flickering etc.
Some more information on DP cables can be found here: http://www.displayport.org/cables/how-to-choose-a-displayport-cable-and-not-get-a-bad-one/
We offer the CAC-1064 DP extension cable, combined with our CAC-1110 mDP to DP adapter your setup should work:

Hi SrKag, do note that the fast spinning fan can have several different causes. For example if you had a previous card installed with customized fan profiles or if you installed a new driver without completely sweeping previous driver versions. Has the card been replaced in the meanwhile?
Hi Klinge. Can you share information about your setup and can you let us know if all previous drivers have been thoroughly sweeped from your system before installing the HD 7870 Joker?
By using the DDU application you can sweep all old driver versions: DDU app
Then proceed to install the brand new AMD Catalyst 15.7 Driver from here: http://support.amd.com/en-us/download?
If this process does not solve the issue we need to look for a different solution.
