Trying to use CAC-1420 on my Late 2015 27″ iMac to take advantage of multi-gig. I’ve downloaded from Club 3D & Realtek.  Driver must be installed correctly and its not…….the install process says successful by I still only see 1000baseT as my highest option. Has anyone been successful getting this USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type A to RJ45 2.5Gb adapter to work on a iMac?

Do you use a CAT5e or CAT6 network cable?

Seeing 1.4 Gb from modem > Router That’s why I purchased this adapter, so I can get the multi-gig speed to my iMac. I currently get 940’s down, out of my iMac.
