First, I want to say I am tired of purchasing cables that simply don’t work so I want to double check. I’ve purchased a VR Headset the Bigscreen Beyond which has these specifications. A long story short, my laptop has a 3070Ti Laptop GPU, which as of right now only has an HDMI 2.1 connection to directly connect to the GPU. The Bigscreen requires a DP 1.4 connection.

I’ve purchased a lot of varying items trying to fix the issue, and I’m so exasperated. I’d just like to hear that the CAC-1335 will work if I commit. Will it?

If not that specific cable, is there anything else that works that you have in your assortment? As close to lossless DSC would be preferrable.

Interesting VR headset!

I assume it needs a direct DisplayPort connection, no adapters. The headset has 2 displays, and I assume it makes use of the MST tech from DisplayPort, HDMI does not allow a signal to be split into 2. This could be the reason why you have not been able find the right cable.
If your laptop has a USB-C with DP1.4 Alt-mode support than you might be able to use the CAC-1557 (Cable) or CAC-1567 (Adapter)

Would the [Club 3D CAC-1335] work with the Bigscreen Beyond Virtual Reality headset?
