It seems the box comes with a HDMI – to – Mini HDMI …. so I guess I need.

VGA – to – HDMI

Display Port – to – HDMI

Is there an elegant solution for this ?

Howdy

I have a limited budget for a crash cart laptop bag fit-out.

I already have a bag , laptop , console cables. but I have no ability to see ‘ubuntu,linux,windows,bios boot errors’

I was going to purchase a 15inch flat thin monitor with a mini hdmi input.

Butt , The flat 15inch thin monitor mini hdmi input port needs to connect to the following.

1. VGA output from servers etc

2. Display Port Standard output from servers etc

3. HDMI output from servers etc

Any adaptors that will do this one job?
Any adaptors can I daisy chain to do the same job?

Only need a visual picture , no need for fancy sound or 4k rendering etc , dont mind passive power either , just need to see the text/errors..

Get a mini-HDMI monitor plus a USB-powered VGA→HDMI active scaler for VGA, a DisplayPort→HDMI active adapter (or a DP→HDMI cable only if the server’s DP is DP++), and a simple HDMI→mini-HDMI cable — avoid daisy-chaining passive converters since single active adapters are far more reliable for BIOS/boot text.
