Does the CSV-3242HD supports VGA via a DVI to VGA adapter?

Yes it does, the DVI output on the CSV-3242HD is DVI-I and capable of outputting bith digital and analog signal. So you can connect a VGA monitor to the DVI output using a DVI-to-VGA adapter.
