CSV-7300 – Freesync support

Hello,

I just bought a CSV-7300 to power my setup.  I planned on having 2 monitors connected to it.  The primary is a 1440p, 165Hz, HDR, and Freesync capable monitor.  The secondary monitor is a normal 1920×1200, 60Hz monitor.

When I plug the primary gaming screen in via DisplayPort directly to the PC I get all of those features (165Hz, HDR, and Freesync).  When I use the CSV-7300 I get everything but Freesync working without a problem.  The AMD control panel states that the monitor is not capable of Freesync (so I can’t turn it on) when connected via the MST hub.

The spec sheet for the CSV-7300 states that its Freesync capable.  Any thoughts or solutions on how I get it working?  My PC itself is in a different room so I need to use the MST hub to drive multiple monitors due to the limited amount of cabling run in the walls (USB and DP v1.4 optical cable only).

Fore reference the PC is using an i7-8086k and an AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT.

Thanks!

May be it can help you, i get v-sync working at 144Hz by disabling HDR and G-Sync.

Have you tried 2K 120Hz? The site says it supports 4K60Hz. If that works than 144Hz is takeing up to much bandwith.
