Does CAC-1586 support g-sync feature?

I want to connect an ASUS ROG X13 Flow (GV301QH) laptop with my LG C1 Tv. The USB-C port is DP 1.4 capable. Wondering if I will lose G-Sync functions or not? Read this issue with cheaper brands, can`t find a definitive answer.

The CAC-1586 does not support G-Sync. There is no way to change the G-Sync protocol from DP to HDMI, due to (I think) bandwidth limitations.
