So I just installed windows 10 and I’m trying to get everything working. But at the moment I don’t have any sound.

Figured it’s due to windows not being able to find any drivers for my theatron agrippa sound card (device manager lists some unknown multimedia audio device) and I should just install one manually. However I seem to be unable to find any drivers for this card. (I think I’m supposed to have a disk here somewhere, but I don’t have a disc drive).

In the mean time I’m just going to activate the Realtek stuff on my motherboard.

I have the same problem, I really love that sound card, so it would be perfect if we could get Windows 10 drivers.

Hi Wieke Kanters and Omelo, at this moment the Theatron Agrippa cards are not supported under Windows 10. Our team is looking for a solution but so far has no way to make it work. Please contact our support team at [email protected] so they may keep you informed on developments. Thanks.

Quick update; there will be no official Windows 10 driver for the Theatron soundcards unfortunately. There is a solution however with this workaround:

It’s for Windows 8, but works in Windows 10 too.

I’ve got to say, personally I’m not a fan of downloading drivers from random 3d party websites. And I can’t seem to find them on the club3d website, even though it is their hardware.

I’m not either, but it looks like you won’t get any official drivers from Club 3D, you actually can’t even find Agrippa on their page anymore… I couldn’t make it work with their first link, so I’ll try cinemaniarotas drivers when I get the chance. It’s my HTPC, so I don’t have a problem installing random driver to it 🙂

Yeah the first link looks to me link some kind of generic 3d party driver update utility. Which is the kind of utility I don’t trust on general principle.

MST1407, Omelo, don’t mention it. Glad I can be of assistance. By the way, someone in a spanish forum said that the spdif output doesn’t work, but I don’t have the possibility of checking if it’s true. Anyone can confirm it?

Theatron agrippa is the same card hardware wise

Works perfectly, also with SPDIF

Hey there, I know this is an old thread, but I thought I could chime in with some helpful info. I had a similar issue with my Theatron Agrippa sound card when I upgraded to Windows 10, and like you, I couldn’t find any drivers for it.
