    Hi Baxter,
You will not void the warranty if you remove the cooler. If you plan to change your cooler for any reason please keep the original as you will need to mount the original cooler back in place for service.
If you have a 80mm or a 120mm spare fan, please check if you can place it next to the card and run the app that is causing the artifacts to verify if it is the temperature that is causing the problem.

    Hi Patrik,
I am glad that it got resolved.
On the AMD Catalyst you can save a desktop profile so you can recall the monitor settings. On Nvidia you should have also a setting for this as well, not very familiar myself with the Quadro display mananger.
    Greetings

    Hi Patrik,
Can you check what firmware you have on the MST Hub? It is located on the cable with a white sticker. The latest version is FW 0.45
Also please tell us what MST Hub model you have.
Check if you can power off completely the system, that means also taking off the power cable out of your power supply, drain the system power by pressing the start button.
Make sure that you have the latest Nvidia Quadro driver in your system

    Hi Gilles,
If you are using bootcamp the MST Hub should provide you 3 displays as the HD 6000 series is compatible with the MST Hub. Another option you have is to use a USB Graphics device in order to enable a third display.

    Hi Stitch,
Most GPU vendors and their partners do not state clearly how many displays the device can use, in fact most people do not know that AMD Radeon cards depending on the model can drive up to 6 displays. Nvidia GPUs can drive up to 4 in most cases.
On INTEL GPU is also a mystery unless you check carefully.
Avoiding this issue is quite difficult as well. For example some vendors can provide a GPU that can handle 6 displays but they can easily limit this feature as it is not in their interest to provide such support.

    Hi,

We cannot control the distributor RMA process and logistics, therefore the best option is to ask them on the status. We truly apologize that you might miss the LAN in case you do not get the card back on time.

    Hi Stitch,

Please find the list of Intel graphics and the number of supported displays here

Note that the HD 4000 from our internal testing it can only support 2 independant displays. If you place a MST Hub on each DP port it will clone the displays. On the HD 4600 or HD 5K series we have tested and it works with 3 independent displays.

    1. If your laptop use the Intel HD 4000 you will not be able to drive 4 independent displays
    2. The MST Hub is a DP++ device, active or passive converters will work on the MST Hub
    3. No, you do not need active converters. For the VGA is a very different story as the conversion needs to be active. For DVI, HDMI passive converters are ok to use on the MST
    4. No, it does not require drivers.

    Hi Hal,
Based on your configuration ” The all in one is a Dell Optiplex 9030 and it appears it has an Intel HD 4600 and a AMD Radeon R7 M265 Series in there for graphics” the CSV-5300A will work fine with the R7 265 discreet graphics card. The DP version on the R7 265 is DP 1.2 and the MST Hub is DP 1.2a, a new version but is compatible to standard 1.2

    Hi Jakub,
The CSV-5300 is discontinued. This particular version has the Synaptics VMM2320 chipset and the new version CSV-5300A has the STDP4320 from ST Micro. The same chip is found on the CSV-5200, CSV-5300H and CSV-5400.
The ST Micro chip supports the latest DisplayPort 1.2a standard.
