Hi and welcome to Insights!
Interesting system you have and in regards to MST + Console gaming I do not think that is possible as the consoles do not have a DisplayPort output.
Also note that a single DP port you are able to use up to two 1600p if you use it with a discreet graphic card.
Cheers.
I uploaded the image. The image size was too big to be accepted. You need to resize the image in order to post it.
Nice system.

Welcome to Insights! Amazed with the X800XL hehe..
As we have not received yet any feedback from AMD we have proceeded tor remove all information in our website for the Rotated Eyefinity support.
We will keep you posted in this matter.
Hi Gerrit,
Congrats on the new card. As a vendor, we must submit the product to AMD for the qualification process and AMD includes our BIOS ID in their drivers. The AMD driver does not state the specific model but they do it in series, that is in all products.
I am not sure what you mean a lower score because of the ID or name. Can you detail us a bit more?
Greetings
Hi LiangJR,
Yes, the A is the latest model and this model is sold worldwide with the code CSV-5300A. It is already available in the USA at Newegg, find the link here
If it is not in stock it should be soon.
Welcome to Insights!
The CSV-5300 is the same as the CSV-5300U, the later is our USA/Canada part number. The CSV-5300H is the HDMI version.
Now, the CSV-5300A is our latest model, this one has the latest STDP 4320 chip from ST Micro and is DisplayPort 1.2a. Also all the latest models have a scan/reset button on the back of the device, making easier for your graphics controller to recognise it.
If you have more questions let me know.
Cheers
Hi Zombielinux, The MST Hub is DP++ so it only requires passive adapters with an exception of using active adapters when you pass 1920×1200 resolution. In your case 1200×1920 in portrait mode is fine using passive adapters.
You can read more about the MST Hubs in our technology section.
I will be making more pages shortly so we can make more clear these questions. You can find the page here Welcome to Insights!
You are welcome. Please note that Radeon™ and FirePro™ are capable of a maximum of 6 displays only. If you do not have enough outputs the MST Hub does the trick. Some people believe that by placing several mst hubs on several DisplayPort outputs will gain more but unfortunately is capped at 6.
Hi cardplayer,
I am still awaiting for feedback and I have not forgot your case.
In the meantime we have also tested the driver 14.11 beta2 and 14.9 WHQL here with the same results.
Regards
Hi drprince,
Welcome to Insights!
I think you probably mean the W5000. I have not tested yet this model but I have tested in the past the W7000 and it works without issues. If your choice is HDMI you can purchase the CSV-5300H.
Here is a test I have done myself on the W7000 back in Oct 2013 with the CSV-5300. The main difference between these two is that the first model we use the Synaptics chipset and in the new version we use the STDP 4320, which has support for the new DisplayPort 1.2a standard and also better signal over long distance.
Find my video review here on the W7000 and the MST Hub CSV-5300
Note that even on the W5000 has only 2 DP ports, you can use two hubs to provide in total 6 outputs by using two MST Hubs. Also you can use our CSV-5400 DisplayPort 1-4 to come with the same amount of supported diplays (4x on the MST Hub “max 1080p), 1x DP native and 1x DVI.
If you have further questions please let me know.
Regards
You are welcome, I am glad that it work out as you expected.
Take care and enjoy.
Hi Cardplayer,
Thank you for your post and we do apologise the inconvenience caused by the large disappointment you have with our R9 285 card.
We have tested here internally the support for PLP and indeed the latest OMEGA driver is not providing support for this setup. You can do mixed resolutions but has to be either on LLL or PPP.
Also we went further to test the R9 290 series with the same results so we think this could be a driver issue. We are currently in contact with our engineers and also with AMD to verify these results.
The text on our site and also on AMD site is correct, we have absolutely no intention to place incorrect information on our site and in case of any mistake we shall correct it.
Please note that hardware and software developments are not always in sync when a product is introduced in the market, the Rotated Eyefinity support was announced recently by the AMD team with the introduction of the OMEGA driver and we have little influence on what AMD features will implement.
Here is the official AMD statement on the R9 285 OMEGA introduction;

As a side note, AMD provides incredible value on their Eyefinity Technology for the consumer market. Most features found on the FirePro cards are found today on the consumer level products and we think is a nice development.
If you are considering making a standard Eyefinity Setup please note the following chart on what is possible for Radeon™ based cards. The rest of the configurations are reserved for the FirePro products.

We will keep you posted on the R9 285 card.
