oh i just saw the latest firmware was already send to you on the 4th
Hi J48888,
The R7 260X can most certainly do it, this is tested here.
On many TV’s you need to turn on “UHD Color” or “Advanced (Color) Setting” manually in the settings of your TV for the HDMI port to which your pc is connected.
Also it could help when connecting 2 screens, to set the screen connected thru the Adapter as second/secondary screen
I strongly advise you to make a custom resolution, set resolution to 3840×2160 at 60Hz and set Timing standard to CVT-RB (reduced blanking);
Open the Crimson Driver software
Click on “screen” ; Then on “additional settings” (right top); Then click “Custom Resolutions” and click on “NEW”. Put in 3480 and 2160 and 60Hz and set Timing Standard to CVT-Reduced Blanking.
O do advise you to try an HDMI cable of which you are certain (certified) it will support 18Gbps or 3840×2160 at 60Hz, perhaps you can borrow one from a friend. Many issue come from cables that are in fact not capable of supporting such high resolutions. Something like this one:
CAC-1310
I will send you an email with the latest firmware for the Adapter just in case…
Hi Eduard,
Just a look at your Asus Zenbook UX501VW. Wow nice 🙂
I saw it has a USB Type C output with Thunderbold 3 support, which means it supports Displayport Alt mode as well. So to connect your monitor with DP Input you can use the CAC-1507

Good day Eduard,
Sorry but you cannot use our CAC-1070 or CAC-1170 to convert HDMI2.0 into DP, it is only way way conversion.
We do not have HDMI2.0 to DP 1.2 converters. It should be possible for sure, however you are the first ever i got the question from and i think that is the biggest issue … lack of demand.
is there a particular reason why you choose to run the screens in 50Hz ?
is there a difference when you choose 60Hz (both card and screens should be able to do that) ?
Hi Sebastian,
Please send a picture of the backside of your card to [email protected]
There should be stickers there with Serial NR. / Item Code / Production Nr. Need thsoe to determine which bios is needed.
Thanks
Hi BBach,
Did you manually set the Setting for the HDMI input you use to “Enhanced” ?
Good day All,
Although it is true that a good quality cable should allow you to use the full bandwidth of HDMI2.0 or 18Gbps, it does often happen that even Brands/Cables who claim to be able to do that, in fact are not really capable of using full bandwidth. Certainly not the cables longer then 3 meters. This is why we actually started to offer a 3Meter HDMI2.0 Certified cable with which you can use full 18Gbps over the full length of the cable … our CAC-1310

Good day Timbersynk,
Which screens are you using ?
If possible please disable ECO Mode on the screens.
Hello P,
Sure, please drop an email to [email protected] and we’ll send it to you.
Good day Smorgan,
Does Windows recognize the Card ?
Which Driver version did you install ?
A CGAX-R7256LM4 takes about 60 Watt of power, does your system/psu have that power available ?
Hi All,
So far the latest firmware version solved all known issues in combination with Vizio TV’s …
