Nvidia Driver 511.65 – Club3d CAC-1085 does not run at native resolution for 120hz gaming

8 on 03-02-2022

Just wanted to give a heads up that I can’t run 3840×2160 @ 120hz with the latest 511.65 driver. I posted at the Nvidia forums and submitted a driver feedback form with all of the required data. Going back to 511.23 solves the issue for now. I’m using the LG CX 48″ OLED connected to the CAC-1085 adapter.

I just checked with my setup RTX2080TI and a C9. With the new drivers of Nvidia I get 4K120Hz RGB no problem.

Do you know what Firmware you have on your CAC-1085. When did you buy it? You might also send [email protected] an email. They will help you.

Yup… They broke it again… Just updated from 495 to 510 on Linux (510.47.03), and 4k@120 is gone. Nvidia settings app reports connection link as 4 lanes @ 5.40Gbps, when the previous drivers reported 4 lanes @ 8.10Gbps.

Going back to driver 511.23 solved the issue for me too. I’m using RTX 2060 Super with LG CX

Thanks for this info! I can confirm that this version of drivers works great with RTX 2070 Super with the CX as well.
