Hello,
After some very frustrating experiences with the new Macbook Pro 15″ (late 2016 – Sierra 10.12.4) regarding the overall connectivity with almost any external device I am stuck in attempt to connect it to my Benq 27″ BL2711U UHD 4K monitor. I tried at first and (naively) by the recommendation from Apple reseller to connect it with Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C) to Thunderbolt 2, then I bought quite expensive StarTech Thunderbolt 3 to Dual DP adapter that could not even send the signal, and as I found later is unsupported by Apple. Now I am suggested, again by the Apple authorities, to go for a USB-C Digital AV Multiport Adapter and spend another 70 Euros, but after going trough dreadful customer reviews on product page it just made me uncertain that such next step will make any difference. Could you, anyone, please advise on possible final and fully working solution? I just stumble upon CAC-1507 – The Club 3D USB 3.1 Type-C to DisplayPort and before I purchase yet another adapter would be great to get some additional opinion and suggestions in hope that this time it might actually work. Many thanks in advance 🙂
