csv-5400 to 4x dvi black screens

Hi,

I am trying to have 4 monitors running with the 4xDisplayPort 1.2 MST Hub (CSV-5400), but my screens remain black. When I disconnect the hub from the computer, the screens show a “no signal, going to sleep” message.

My setup is the following:

  • Windows 10 Home
  • i7-7700 [email protected] GHz
  • 64-bit OS
  • Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050, driver version 384.76
  • 4 x BenQ GL2450, 1920×1080, 60Hz, DVI-I

Does someone have a solution?

Good day Patt52,

Please check if the Adpater / Cables you are using to connect the Screens are Passive.

An MST HUb has Displayport ++ (Dual Mode) Support. This means when converting the DP output into DVI you need to use Passive adapters. Like our CAC-1000 Adapter (plus of course a normal DVI cable to conenct to the monitor).
