Hi!

I have a question about the compatibility of the cable (DisplayPort 1.4 to USB-C). On the specifications it says the cable is compatible with 720p, 1080p and 2160p. But could it also be used with a monitor with like a 3440×1440 resolution with 144hz?

Thanks in advance!

To answer your question this cable will support up to 4K@120 not above

Thanks

The display I’m buying isn’t 4K. ‘Only’ 3440×1440, a 4K would 3840×2160 (or something like that). So that why I was curious if the cable would support a higher refresh rate on a lower resolution than 4K. Because the cable can do 60Hz at 8k, 120hz 4K so I was hoping for maybe 144hz at 3440×1440… But from the site and technical info that isn’t really clear.

Thank you for the explanation.

To be honest it might be possible if you stay under 16bit color depth
