Hi this adapter has an Off and On Firmware version – its mostly delivered with ON and its OFF to accommodate older devices. How do you know you have the On version? On should be able to play HDCP Content –
The CAC-1010 is able to reproduce this resolution – However please note that the QNIX monitors only support DVI input resolutions – Adapters wont work.

What is the GPU that you have ? and you mean wake up from Sleep?
i think its hard to tell since some surface devices do not optimize the four lane channels for DP 1.2/1.4 … to be able to run 4K120hz
