Hello Frix33,
I am sorry but that don’t think that will work.
EUFI settings require the Bios to be be bigger thatn was required before that. So if the card has an “old/small” bios it could very well be that the information ofr EUFI simply won’t fit on it.
If I am not mistaking ClubD started with EUFI Bioses from R7 260X onwards so everything before that time would not be possible.
Sorry
Sorry for the inconvenience
Hello Ost,
There is no technical difference in between those 2. The CAC-2330 is just the more cost efficient version packed in Poly Bag but has the same chip inside and work in the same manner.
Flashes and stripes can be caused by many things, BSOD is amost always either software or memory issue. I think you already excluded software by now, so that would leave memory.
It could be system memory. If you have different memory modules in your system i sugggest you to just run your system on 1 and see if the problem is gone and then the other … of that is not it, then the chance that it is the memory of your pgraphics card is very big and that would not be good at all.
Actually the CAC-1330 and CAC-2330 have the same chip inside and therfore the same specs, they Chip actually supports DP 1.2 but when that is specified end-users might think you can do 4K 60Hz with it and we do not want to have any of that which is why we specify either just DP or DP 1.1.
Ok, yes that 2.33 is the latest available firmware we have.
Please connect DP port to the first DP output, which is normally the one on top (furthest away from the HDMI output). Set screen connected via the Adapter as secondary screen and mirror mode (just for now to try to get it going) and turn off all power saving settings in screen and system.
yes like the CAC-1330
or the CAC-2330
unfortunately no update yet for support for 4K 60Hz yet 🙁
Hello Mathias,
Very sorry for the inconvenience.
If everything worked last friday and not today, something must have changed i would think. Sometimes auto-updates can cause issues … I normally would adivse first to go back to a system restore point form before the problem started if that is available, but if you already re-installed everything again … this i probable not the case.
If something sometimes works and sometimes not it can also be a bad contact. Bad contact in the HDMI Cable (or connector) or in the CSV-2303H itself.
Did you try using another HDMI Cable to connect to the screen from the CSV-2303H ?
Good day Greed,
Sorry to hear this.
Sounds like the adapter looses signal from the Graphics Card.
Can you check which firmware is on the Adapter, should be something mentioned on the dislayport cable normally.
Are you able to test the adapter on a different system by any chance ?
Good to hear happy you got it going 🙂
And thanks for the feedback.
thanks for the feedback
Did you check on the temperature of the card when error occurs ?
Cooling paste in between the GPU and cooler can dry up over time and transfer heat less well, in which case it could help to replaced by new cooling paste.
Did you try an older AMD driver from before all those versions came out with optimalisation for RX series ? To make sure it is not a driver issue please try an older driver from before RX sereis came out, I know 16.8.3 was a good driver that worked very well for HD series …
Bios send by email
Good day 3dpsychedelic,
Sorry to hear this.
When using setup with multiple screens, please set the screen connected via the adapter as secondary.
Flickering picture is no good, please try making a clean driver installation to make sure that is not the cause.
The CAC-1070 is produced according to the highest porduction quality standards and is most certainly not supposed to quit after 1 year.
If this does not help and the adapter is really defective, we need to claim warranty for it, so it can be swopped for a new one.
For privacy, if needed you can send an email to [email protected] letting us know where you bought the product, where you are from etc. and we can figure out the best way for you to handle this.
