Hello BrendanOG,
To be able to send a Video Signal over a USB C port the notebook needs to have support for DisplayPort Alternate Mode. Did you check if DP Alt Mode is supported by the HP pavilion 15-cw0509sa … (I coud not find it oinline)
Also you said you have 2 screens, how do you connect the other ?

Using the upgrade feature to update Graphics drivers can cause issues, because old files can remain in the registry of windows and can be “in the way”.
Please make a new clean driver installation to make sure that part is ok.
Please uninstall the current Graphics driver and all related Graphics software like Afterburner/GPU-Z or whatever graphics related software you might have installed.
Best way to remove Driver Software is to boot Windows in Safe mode, so the registry can also be cleaned.
If your system does not allow you to do that, you can also use a program like DDU to remove such software: http://www.wagnardmobile.com/DDU/
Also, please manually delete the AMD / Nvidia Folder from your C drive.
When done, reboot and manually download and install latest available driver for your Card (don’t let any auto installer do that). Version 398 or newer.
Hi Nori,
All feedback on functionality with MAC OS 10.14 is very welcome 🙂
Thanks
thanks
sorry for the late reply …
please send an email to [email protected] they can send you a file to upgrade the firmware of the adapter. I think that would be good at this point.
sorry this link for the driver, was just updated

In that case you would 3 screens off your MST Hub plus one off the CSV-2300D.
Windows will see 4 screens and you can set that to extended display, just like a “normal” connected screen.
First install the driver (although it probably works without as well), reboot, connect CSV-2300D and it works.
