Hi djduffer26,
Please send a picture of the backside of the card to [email protected].
There should be stickers with ItemCode, SerialNumbers and Production numbers of the back,
what we need to determine what Bios would be the correct oen for you.
Thanks,
Marcel
Good day aitbenelux,
Sorry for the late reaction.
You can feed 4 screens at 1080p 60Hz thru a single DP1.2 output using and MST Hub, that part is correct. However i am quite sure that the Graphics card does not support more than 6 screens max. So if you want to connect 12 screens, you would need at least 2 Graphics Cards.
Hi LevoStone,
Please send me an email on [email protected]
Hi Eko,
It should not be that difficult …
The Card supports up to 4 screens natively, after that you would need active adapters for the screens. This you have in the MS Hub (is an active device) so as long as the HDMI Cables you use are not longer than something like 3 meters that should be fine.
Just connect the screens 1 by 1, make sure they are in the correct resolution and frequency in windows (with didgital screens normally goes automatic). When done go to Crimson driver and create Eyefinity Group. Please do check positioning of the screen, because you cannot make all combinations … please check here: http://www.club-3d.com/index.php/technology/amd-eyefinity.en.html
and here:http://support.amd.com/en-us/kb-articles/Pages/MultimonitorFAQ.aspx
did you try set the settings down to 1080p24, then reboot and then up again?
I know it sounds weird but it helped some users …
Marcel
Hi Guy’s,
Please check:
* Color Depth, often default set to 10 bits or even 12 bits. Most TV’s do not support higher than 8 bpc. So set back the color depth to 8 bpc on your pc.
* Make sure to have the latest AMD Crisom driver installed.
* Make sure the HDMI port your using on the TV is HDMI 2.0 capable or 3840x2160p 60HZ capable. Often TV’s have like 4 HDMI ports, but only 1 is suited for “2.0” standard.
* Turn on “UHD Color” if possible in the settings of your TV for the HDMI port to which your pc is connected.

Good day McScan,
Please try updating the Bios of the Mainboard.
This has been reported and were hoping there’s a possibility that this can be solved with a Firmware Update. However since this issue did not seem to exist under WIN8 it could very well be that with a next WIN10 update the issue will go away … we will announce news on this when we receive it.
Hello MJP1966,
Unfortunately i have heard that before.
It looks like the sleep mode causes the HUB to loose power and there there really no connection to the screens anymore. When system awakes, it cannot make a “digital handshake” with the screens because they are not out of sleep yet and you will get no picture. Kind of a timing issue so to say. It should be solved by pressing the reset button on the back of the MST Hub. That will “build up” a new connection (much like unplugging the device does).
Hi Steve,
I believe you have been in contact with our RMA department who answered on this one.
best regards,
Marcel
Hi Mech0z,
that is weird …
It looks like the Graphics card is getting a signal from the Screen it does not recognize.
Can you try to connect the screens and PC to different power outlets and most preferably with ground.
Hi Toots,
When the system recognizes a discreet Graphics Card the BIOS of the mainboard should disable the on/board Graphics. Please check for BIOS update for the mainboard because this does not sound right.
Hi Aleks,
If you used an upgrade function to got o WIN10, you could try this±
Please make sure your documents/pictures/music etc. is safe.
Go to settings, recovery, reset this PC, chose Remove Everything (you should have your personal files safely copied on USB stick or USB HDD).
Such clean install of WIN10 normally make the system work better and will also remove older versions of the OS which saves you lots of space.
If that does not work, please claim warranty form the place of purchase.
Hello Nostrocker,
A R9 280 can support up to 6 screens.
The first 2 you can just connect directly with (passive) normal cables.
To be able to use a third screen you normally have to enable the Eyefinity feature.
You do this by using (one of) the DP output(s).
When using a Screen with DP input, you can also use a normal (passive) cable to connect from DP output to DP Screen. When using a screen without DP Input you will need an active adapter cable with eyefinity support for the third (and any after that).
So if you want to connect 1st Screen with HDMI, the 2nd screen with DVI and the 3rd with VGA, than you will need an Active Min/DP to VGA Adapter cable like this one CAC-1102
