How to use the Apple Pro Display XDR with a PS5

I connected the PS5 to the XDR using the CAC-1335 and a DisplayPort to USB-C cable. I tried the USB-C end in all the ports (including the one with the lightning symbol). The XDR doesn’t turn on, and it is plugged in.

Am I doing something wrong, or is this not supposed to work?

I noticed there’s also a CAC-1336 that goes directly to USB-C. Would that work with the XDR?

Best to go with the CAC-1336. Adding an other adapter cable is not the best solution.

Make sure you use a USB-C cable that supports HDMI4K120Hz. Like the CAC-1567 or CAC-1571.

I tried the CAC-1336. The XDR won’t turn on when connected to the PS5.

People have gotten 4K60 from PS5 to XDR:

but they used some older HDMI 2.0 to DisplayPort 1.2 adapters which have EDID overrides:

What if you put a Thunderbolt 4 hub between the CAC-1336 and the XDR?

Speaking of EDID overrides, maybe something like the Dr HDMI 8K would help?
