Hi Achilles99,
Can you try and downgrade your Nvidia drivers to 456.38 and see what happens?
How long are the cables you are using? In combination with the CAC-1085?
Even then, I think that 12K120Hz is not possible over the 3090… Might be an option to ask this question on the EVGA forums as well.
Hi Alfuzzy,
Why fix something that works? Is what I always ask myself. So stick with it, I’d say.
There is a firmware update to turn it off and on again so no need to purchase a new one. You need to mail [email protected] for it. Contact them once you feel like it doesn’t work for you like it should.
Hi Woller,
No problem, happy to help! 🙂
Hi Elperdano,
No It does not support Free-Sync. You might need to use the CAC-1080 with a propper HDMI 2.0 cable.
But let me try and help you, what Display are you using? Not every FreeSync Display supports FreeSync of HDMI.
HI Elperdano,
The CAC-1073 can do what you ask.
Hi Wolfenhex,
Ok I understand now. What hardware are you trying to use to mirror into 3 displays? This way I might be able to figure what’s wrong. Also if possible please show me your display settings.
Thanks!

Hi Woller,
The issues is with your notebook. It does not support Display Alt mode over USB-C. Read the manual.

You will need something like the CSV-1460 or look for Dockings with “DisplayLink” in the name.
Hi ApricotObject7,
What hardware do you use, which cable did you extend?
Hi Meagle1223,
That’s correct any DP 1.4 cable will work. I don’t now how much longer you need but Club-3D has a cable up to 20 meters it’s Active Optic (fiber) CAC-1079. Or a normal cable up to 5 meters CAC-1061. Just be sure it’s a DP 1.4 cable and also check your GFX supports DP 1.4.
What source (GFX) will you use with mini DP? Will it be DP1.4? Very curious
Hi Wolfenhex,
I’m trying to puzzle what you are trying to ask. But I can’t figure it out.
Mirroring, Identical signals and Duplicated are all the same thing to me, but I still don;t understand what you are trying to ask. Can you try and rephrase your question?
Also mention the hardware you are using.
Thanks!
Hi Brett,
Have you unzipped the file before trying to use the .exe file? Save it on your desktop and use it as an administrator.
Is the CAC-1510 attached to the computer? You must connect it to the DVI as well.
Hope this helps.

Ok your TV does support 4k60Hz over HDMI 2.0. That’s good.
HDMI 2.0 came out in September 2013. So there is a chance you bought a late HDMI 1.4 cable. Which does only allow 4K60Hz on the following settings; Colors 420 and 8 bit.
However I don’t know if the CAC-1080 is backwards compatible.
