Hi Lensmann,
There are definitely different versions of DP all has to do with the bandwidth: https://www.club-3d.com/en/technology/8/displayport/
But this is way to technical for me to give any suitable answer. If you could forward your question to [email protected] I’m pretty sure they will help you with this.
Hi Egrego,
It works. I tried it myself on a USB-C from a RTX2080TI (PC) to a LG C9 4k120Hz using a CAC-1372 (ultra high speed cable). I was able to get 4K120Hz 12bit 444. So technically it should work going 8k60Hz. But this might be an expensive solutions.
Rumored are they will bring a USB-C to HDMI 2.1 soon. Late first quarter? I don’t know,.
Hi Jose608,
Nvidia drivers are the problem not the adapter.
I believe 456.55 are the last drivers that works with the adapter.

There are many users on the internet experiencing the same issue you have.
Not much Club-3D can do here.
HI Ceejus,
Guess they are having holidays as well there…
When did you buy your CAC-1080. I doubt there is any new firmware available for this adapter. Is the adapter not working anymore?
Hi Lensmann,
What DisplayPort cable do you use with the CAC-1331 and your Dell P2715Q? (Which version)
Not sure what you mean with “533MHz pixel clock/timing” .
I don’t know if you can lower the color bitrate output from the PS5 to 8bits maybe?
Hi MichaelOsipov,
I found a nice article to read regarding this:

Hi Key50,
I must say, you’ve got such a sweet PC built. Sadly the monitor doesn’t really fit into that hardware list ;).
Have you tried all DisplayPorts on your GPU?
By reading your issues and you are sure your cable is working correctly. I believe you unfortunately received a faulty adapter. I’d suggest to RMA it and request a new one.
Hi MichaellsMe,
First of: DisplayPort (DP) 1.4 to DP1.2 is no problem. Thing is the bandwidth will be limited to DP1.2 specifications. DP1.4 supports up to 40GBPs and DP1.2 supports up to 21Gbps.
You want to connect 3x1080p over 21Gbps this is no problem with the CSV-5300A. As you will be using 3x 4.4Gbps.
Triple monitor:
Dual monitor:
Please check if your notebooks does support 3 screens tho!
Hi Jon,
Did you plug in the USB into your PS5?
I’ve tried looking for your model display but I can only find the ASUS ROG PG27AQ. Which states it has DisplayPort 1.2 .
What DP cable do you use, how long is it?

Hi Joevt,
The USB power does not transmit USB 2.0 data, it is only to power the adapter.
Not sure what solution you are looking for exactly but the 2 items you describe are completely different.
The CAC-1331 is HDMI to DisplayPort 1.2. The CAC-1332 is HDMI to USB-C, why would you want to know what DisplayPort version would be supported by an USB-C output? USB-C won’t fit into DisplayPort 😉 This is why it is not mentioned.
If you can describe to me what you are trying to achieve I might be able to help. Don’t forget to mention your hardware.
Hi Stach,
According to VESA standards the 20 Pin has to be disabled otherwise it may fry your hardware.
Are you having issues with the adapter itself or is it working as intended?
Hi Maximus,
I’ve some questions;
How did you manage to get 2 different GPUs working in 1 system? That does not suppose to work.
Which screens do you use? Assuming the 2x HD screens are 1080P. These will never become a 2K screen using any kind of adapter.
Hi Digitalman,
First, the adapter will not work with an HDMI 2.0 cable. You will need an HDMI 2.1 cable and no longer than 3 meters. Search for the CAC-1370 – 1371 – 1372 -1373 Ultra high speed hdmi cables.
Second, your TV does not support 4k 120Hz.
Supported screen resolution

If you have a 4K 120Hz TV technically the CAC-1085 would work with the RX 6000 series of AMD (with a HDMI 2.1 cable up to 3 meters). Note that at whatever resolution it will not support VRR (G-sync or Free-sync).
Do you get a picture on the screen using the adapter?
Even if it does not go all the way in it should still work. The connectors might be to long or to short to fit all the way in.
Cac-1509 is the only solution Club-3D has. What hardware do you use maybe there are different connection options.
