Hi compalalaska,
That is odd, we did receive your message and is answer from [email protected]
* Please make sure the TV is updated to latest software/firmware.
* When connecting a HDMI 2.0 device, HDMI Color Subsampling needs to be enabled to support 4K resolution at 60hz.
To enable/disable HDMI Color Subsampling:
* Please make sure you HDMI Cable is capable of 4K at 60Hz or 18Gbps.
With setups like yours is normally works best to make a custom resolution for 3840x2160p at 60H with Timing Standard set to CVT-Reduced Blanking (RB).
Hi Xpression2020,
Yes that should be possible.
Most Notebook manufacturers do have a build in limitation for the amount of external screens the notebook will support, but i have not heard of notebooks supporting less than 2 external screens ..
The USB2.0 will only allow you to ouput 1 x 1080p, so you will need to use the USB3.0 ouput on the notebook to be bale to do 2 x 1080P 60Hz.
First install software and when done connect the Extenal Graphics Adapter.
Hi All,
That ANX7688 Chip is made for mobil devices and only supports 2 lanes over DP … so cannot be used for DP to HDMI2.0 purpose unfortunately …
We will keep at it, but so far it does not look like this will happen in 2016
so far nothing from the AMD Camp 🙁
I will update as soon as we get feedback …
Hi miguelangelcabrero,
I assume you have a CSV-5200.
What system do you have, which CPU is inside (Type nr) ?
It sounds like your system does not support Multi Stream Transport feature which is necessary to be bale to send multi video signals thru a singel DP output…
Hello kh,
With Card made for Distribution Channel the all support 6 screens in total as long as they have a DP1.2 ouput. For FirePro i am not sure, but i seriously doubt that you can cannoct more than 6 screens to a W7000. Hard to find definite info on it since AMD would like you to buy a W600 or even a W9100, bt i am quite sure a W7000 will work with a CSV-5300A generating a toal of 6 x DP ouput as a max.
Hello mellm and gruru,
We have forwarde your issue to R&D at Factory and i hope it can be resolved. We will update as soon as we have info on it…
You mean you have a CSV-5300H Displayport MST HUB ?
If it is just to connect your Oculus rift, i would suggest to use a CAC-1070 = Displayport to HDMI2.0 Active adapter that can also do 120Hz up to 1080 p
What resolution is your Oculus Rift running on ?
always nice those updates :-S
cool good to hear you got it working 🙂
By the way it thought that SwitchResX app was available online for free :-S !?
Please check for latest Graphics Driver for your HD P4600 Graphics, the CPU should be able to support 4K 60Hz output. Samsung TV UHD Color set to Enable and make cusotme resolution in the Intel Graphics Driver for 3840x2160p 60Hz with timeing standard set to CVT-Reduced Blanking (RB).
Hi Galabar,
Please do this:
Uninstall current Graphics Driver.
Reboot and Manually download and install (don’t let that auto-updater from Intel do that) Intel Graphics Driver pack 15.40.25.4463,which contains Display Audio Driver 6.16.00.3197 plus Graphics driver 20.19.15.4463.
You can find it here:https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/26078/Intel-Graphics-Driver-for-Windows-10-and-Windows-7-8-1-15-40-
You most probably need to add a custom resolution to the Intel Graphics Driver before you will be able to select it. For connecting TV’s is best to set the Timing Standard to CVT-Reduced Blanking (RB)
Open Intel Graphics Control Panel, Chose “Custom Resolutions” (left bottom option) It will asks you if you wish to continue; YES
Standard the “Basic” setting is shown, click on “Advanced”, Fill in; Width 3840 ; Height 2160 ; Refresh Rate 60 ; Timing Standard CVT-RB ; and click on “ADD” on the right bottom of the window.
Now this resolution I added to the system and can be chosen.
Go back to “General Settings”(left top) , it will show the basic options and here you can now choose the 3840×2160 resolution and 60Hz.
if am not mistaking you can just select CVT-RB on the top and fill in 3840 x 2160 and at scan rate 60 Hz and leave the rest as is. Clivk OK and it should make that settign available from the options to selct from. Perhaps a reboot is necessary.
Hi Monaco Fonzie,
When screens do not have Displayport input, the first 2 screens you can connect with passive adapters as you found out already that works. Screen nr 3 and 4 need to be connected ith Active Adpaters like CAC-1153 and/or CAC-1170. Since you opnly go up to 1080p 60Hz a CAC-1153 will be sufficient however the CAC-1170 does not cost (much) more … both will work
Good to hear that works for you and sorry for the inconvenience
