Hey guys I’m Mike from the Philippines. I’m a tech enthusiast and hardware reviewer. Well, I don’t have any brand preference since I entered into this line of work. Current test rig is an Intel then was just building up an AMD platform test rig. It would be using an FX 8370 from a fellow reviewer in the US, an MSI 970 Gaming which I’m reviewing at the moment, Kingston predator memory, a be quiet! dark power pro PSU, OCZ SSD and well I wish it was an all-AMD test rig. If it’s about the latest tech, I’m interested about it. Hoping to see some fun and learning here too.

Hello… you can call me MAXXHEW. I found this forum through a Tweet. There is a contest going on, so I thought I’d join in on this site. Looks well made and informative. A gaming friend of mine uses and recommends Club GPU’s…. he lives in Netherlands, but here in the U.S.A. it’s kinda hard to find them. I would love to win that R9 CLUB card because I’m building a gaming PC for my 10 year old sons Christmas gift… I don’t have all the pieces yet, so every little bit would help. He would be SOOOO happy, and the CLUB R9 would get a lot of daily use! Anyways… here’s what I currently play with:
I’m glad I found this site. Thank You.

just realized I never introduced myself! lol Im Geoff from the US. Have loved PC building and Gaming since my first build (Pentium 90 – 16MB ram.. windows 3.1! lol)
Here is my current system

Recently got the modding bug and want to do so much more (sleeving, painting, etc) but time and money always slows it down! lol
Hey Clubbies! I’m Kaitsu from Finland. First computer was 4.77Mhz 8086 with CGA graphics. Been into overclocking ever since i learned that you can solder/cut a ziptie and change the clock generator chip at the tender age of 7-8 =) Therefore every chip generation and model intel produced up until 486dx4’s had a hard knock life inside my computer cases. Switched over to AMD after Pentium III and returned “home” to intel last year when i got a haswell.
Been sticking with ATI/AMD gpu’s since R200 generation. Bought my first Club3d radeon back when they released x800 series. Awesome card =) Rocked it over 3 generations until upgrade to the Club3d 5850 I have now. Been a big fan of first person shooters ever since Wolfenstein 3d and Doom. But that’s enough of me. Merry christmas! How are you guys spending the holidays?
I will begin by saying I will begin by saying. I will begin by saying that I’m happy to have learned that there’s such a thing as a club-3d forum! It’s fascinating reading all these new members’ introductions and pc specs so I’ll give you mine. I built my first computer only a year ago when my old one was damaged during a storm. I was never interested in pc gaming before that happened and the only gaming pcs I’d heard of were those expensive alienware ones! I did some research and soon realized that I could build a better computer for a lower price than an already assembled one. With the help of a friend who got me into pc building, I decided to make an APU-based pc because I was trying to save as much money as possible and the only gaming i’d done was light. The only things I re-used were the case and the optical drive. My build was as follows:
APU: A10-6800k
Memory: G.Skill Ripjaws 1600mhz 4gb x 2
SSD: Kingston 120 GB
HDD: Seagate 1TB
Psu: Corsair CX430
Motherboard: ASRock FM2A75M PRO4+
I decided I really wanted to get into PC gaming so I upgraded the stock cpu fan to a Coolermaster 92 and just placed an order for a Club-3d r9 270 which I will overclock to match a 270x. I’m glad I won’t have to break the bank! Looking forward to the Club-3d community. 🙂
Hello insighters! Glad to be here. They put my name as Valentine… I must have been a romantic with every bit and byte. For some reason I ended to became a civil engineer ( love to build bridges ), but I can’t do it anymore in my country. I love everything related to IT. Even if I want to learn some programming I still spend more time on fixing electronics. As about Club3D it is a real pleasure to say that I was a proud owner of a 1000 Club3D PSU CSP -X1000CB, from 2012. But I put it on hard work, working every day in a shop. The PSU could it be just fine if there weren’t the “lovely” power blackouts. Until then I had never ever any sort of problems. Silent and powerful. Club3D makes performance.
You can see here a than and now main pc since the first build with Club3D psu. The only thing that my pc lacks on is a gpu. But since he was kind to me today on Christmas Eve got a clean service.

Hi to everyone,
I’ve joined as I have just bought a CAC 1151 Club 3d lead-mini display port to dual link DVI active 3D. I did this as having just installed two new GTX 980 graphics cards in SLI, I needed this adaptor lead for my third monitor. It’s just that 3d identical Acer 3d monitors like most 3d monitors seem to use the DVI dual link process and have built in IR emitters for 3d surround instead of display port. Unfortunately, the GTX 980 is the first of Nvidia’s graphics cards to now only have one DVI output with the rest being [mini]display ports in preparation for 4k. So therefore, I could only connect two monitors and had to buy this Club lead/adapter for the third monitor for multi-monitor display 6160 x 1080.
Funny thing is it worked with two 680s in SLI as they have enough DVI sockets. But having now connected up with the new graphics cards, this new Club lead is causing problems with 3d surround-doesn’t seem to like it being enabled and in the NVIDIA control panel there is a warning under HDCP status that ‘a repeater is connected and that some video applications do not support HCDP when such a repeater is present.’ Therefore not only am I struggling to get 3d with multi-monitor set up but also my built in blu-ray drive no longer works..
Anyone else had this problem and if so, how did they resolve it?
Regards,
Bristone
